Andrey Zakharov appointed HR Director of ICS Holding

Andrey Zakharov, HR Director of Nexign, takes the role of HR Director of ICS Holding, where he will lead HR function in all Holding companies, including Nexign.

The HR division of multidisciplinary IT group ICS Holding is set to be headed by Andrey Zakharov, currently HR Director at Nexign (a part of ICS Holding).

ICS Holding comprises more than 25 companies at different levels of development and with diverse corporate cultures. Andrey will take on the considerable challenge of centralising our HR processes, as well as establishing the sharing of best practices between group companies,” explains Yulia Shutkina, Vice President at ICS Holding. “The experience that Andrey has gained at major Russian and international companies, including Nexign, represents particular value to the group at this stage in our development.”

Andrey Zakharov will be combining his new position with that of HR Director at Nexign, where he has worked for two years. During his time at Nexign, Andrey has created an effective corporate academy which provides training to company employees and clients, established an onboarding system for new employees, and implemented a range of HR processes designed to boost the efficiency of staff recruitment, improve HR brand management, and develop a compensation and benefits system.  

Andrey Zakharov was born in Astrakhan. He graduated with honours from Rostov Pedagogical University (Department of Linguistics) and Rostov State University (Sociology, Politics, and Psychology); the two institutions were subsequently merged to form the Southern Federal University. He is presently studying for an MBA in HR Management at Moscow Business School, and in 2018 successfully completed an international internship at TIM (Italy), one of the largest telecommunications groups in the European Union.

In the course of his more than 14 years of HR experience Andrey has held a variety of responsibilities and tackled a number of challenges, including managing employee training at Beeline, building and developing the Human Resources Directorate at Zepter International, establishing regional HR centres and managing the corporate university at Russian Standard Bank, building and centralising employee training and development processes at Sberbank, and leading the Human Resources Department at Nexign.
